The Premier League Office & The Hive

While I was in London, I stopped over to visit Tim Vine at the Premier League Office. I don’t know what it is but there is always something special every time I step into the corporate home of the biggest league in the world. 

On the same day, I took a trip up North and visited The Hive, London’s largest football training infrastructure and home to League 2 club Barnet FC. Sukkhi and I spent the afternoon with our old friend from Panasonic India, Kunal Dua who is now based in London and serving as Business Development head for the complex and club. 

I must say that I was really impressed with the infrastructure and overall feeling of the venue. 8 UEFA certified 4G pitches, a nice clubhouse and a total community vibe to the whole place.

Liverpool International Football Academy Coaches – Ray Curtis and Michael Rice

The last half of 2013 was one ongoing conversation about the proposed partnership between Liverpool Football Club and our client DSK Group.  We all knew that only good could come out of this relationship, however we also knew that the level of good would be contingent on the coaches which Liverpool FC selected to represent the Academy in India.  This point couldn’t be hammered home any harder as I’ve seen countless projects fail in India due to the international club’s inability to identify the right type of coaches to make the trip to India. Dreams Do Come True - International Book Tour

It was March 2020 when I started writing a book about my eventful career journey and the philosophy I chose to apply as I made decisions along my professional pathway. It was the early days of the pandemic, and my wife and I were staying at a friend’s beautiful farmhouse in Lonavala – a quaint hill station two hours’ drive from Mumbai.
